Address bar in Nautilus on Ub 5.10
I just installed Ubuntu on an old laptop and I have really one annoyance. This is probably a Gnome 2.8 problem, but I can no long type in directory names in Nautilus to get to locations. I have to do the point and click thing when it is much easier to just start typing.
Any suggestions or am I just stuck? This is almost a deal breaker for me.... Possibly not, but it is close. |

Cool, thanks for that.

If you want it permanent, you can go to Applications > System Tools > Configuration Editor > Apps > Nautilus > Preferences > always_use_location_entry
