Question Adding resolution to Kubuntu 10.10

Having just loaded kubuntu 10.10 on a laptop with a 15 inch monitor the options to change resolution are very limited. Is it possible to add resolutions as some programmes for example running in wine are only showing part of the screen making the programme un-useable.

Do you have the proper video drivers loaded? And the resolution also depends upon the monitor too; Look at the monitor's documentation on the highest resolution supported.

Josh,

Many thanks after a bit of tweaking I was able to load and successfully run in a better resolution.
