A start job is running for cryptswap1.device (slow boot)

Hi,
On my Xubuntu 17.04 installation on my MacBook Air 11" (2015), I have noticed the following thing causing the startup to take 90+ seconds:

A start job is running for dev-mapper-cryptswap1.device (no limit)

Another swap-related issue appears on the same point, that times itself at 90 seconds before I can login.

I don't even have any swap space allocated, I tried commenting out the swap related info in /etc/fstab using 'sudo -H mousepad /etc/fstab', didn't work. Commenting out the only line in /etc/crypttab using the same command fixes the boot time, but prevents me from connecting to the Internet.

What can I do? Thanks for any help.
