A Bunch of Questions:

Hello! Names Theyain, just a small time networker/BIG programmer here. I have a few questions:

I have Drapper 6.06 installed on a PC and on the PC I have dual screens. Now because I do not have the correct driver loaded the right screen is glitchy. What is the correct way to change the driver?

Now for a network/connection question:

Now this computer with Ubu on it is connected to a Novell network, but I can't connect. I have set up a correct IP address, and I have the client hostname and User name and all that jazz. I just can't connect. Any suggestions on what I should do?

See ya,
Theyain Riyu

PS, yes I know it is important for anyone who wants help me to know both the drivers I am using and the type of graphics cards and modem. But I will get back to you on that.

PPS, Gah, I forgot my other questions. >.<

You may need to change the horizontal and vertical refresh rates on your screen - you need to get the right ones. Get them from the manufacturer or run 'hwinfo | grep -e Hor -e Ver'. Afterward you need to put those settings in your xorg.conf file's Screen section.

Can you ping the other computers on the network. If you can ping them then you may have an authentication problem instead.

Yes I can ping, but I can also access ALL the drives on the network, including Admin Only drives. Confusing, no?
