2 sound devices

I have my motherboards sound : nForce2 chipset
and I have a Sound Blaster Live
I have Kubuntu Feisty 7.04

When I go to Start->system settings
then I click on "Sound system"

Now how do I select the sound device?
I can click on the hardware tab

Select the audio device has
open sound system
advanced linux sound architecture
no audio input/output
enlightened sound daemon
network audio system
threaded open sound system

There is also the select MIDI device. What the heck is that?
