13.04 and iPhone4 usb tethering..

Hey to all,

Iphone usb tethering doesn't work. It recognize and mount my iPhone, but ethernet won't work. Android usb ethernet works fine.

With Wheezy it works fine if I use this help: http://wiki.debian.org/iPhone . Can anyone help me?

And my Mate has no graphical login. I've to type startx. I've got mate-session-manager installed, is that login manager?

Btw, is there easy solution to remove boot splash?

Thnx! :)

okay, I installed network-manager-gnome and now iPhone usb tethering works. There seems to be something wrong with Mate network..

edit: network manager can't find iPhone ethernet at boot, so network manager is disabled when boot up. "sudo service network-manager restart" fix ethernet, but it would be nice to get ethernet completely work.
