[SOLVED] 'You do not have the correct hardware to run unity'... Then booting into Unity....

On my Asus Eee PC 901 I have Ubuntu 11.04 installed. I have laptop mode enabled. Normally, I boot, and it works well. This time, booted it, and it had an error message in a old Windows 95 like theme saying 'Your computers hardware is not sufficient to run Unity. Please select Classic Ubuntu at the login screen, and then it boots into Unity. I was wondering how I could stop this as it adds 5 seconds onto the boot time.

Sounds like you are using Classic Ubuntu all the time. Is this older equipment?

You may want to drop back to 10.04 or switch distros, like maybe Debian 6.0 (Squeeze) or use a different window manager.

It is not the worlds oldest hardware, 2GB RAM, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 20GB SSD.

I managed to boot into Unity fine, but since then I put Unity 2D on it too. 127KB for a super fast desktop environment.
