And as usual, the media distributed these news around the globe. It is so unimportant an event, that no experienced Debian user or even developer would care less about it.

Oh dear. The blogger wimped out and removed the word "stupids" from the title. Debian is definitely making an effort to emulate Ubuntu's touchy-feely, be nice to newbies philosopy. Too bad. It loses some of its panache.
