Recently, VideoLAN, the team behind the opensource video player VLC, has been informed by HADOPI - The anti-piracy organization in France- that VLC is not allowed to support Blu-ray disc playback in France unless they got the permission from Sony.

That is France for you
They have been in the news a bit lately
this and wanting to force all french on line stores to have the same prices as the brick and mortar

but the big question
how would France's HADOPI try to enforce a non french repo mirror of rpmfusion ?
