I like my local storage, cloud storage solutions are useful until you get a scenario like Megaupload or go out of business suddenly.

I just use my own "cloud". A VPS with 1GB RAM and 60GB disk space costs 9,99€ here in Germany and can do much more than Dropbox or Ubuntu One.
