LXer: Ubuntu 11.04 a.k.a. Natty Narwhal
Published at LXer:

Mark Shuttleworth, father of the popular Ubuntu operating system, proudly announced a few minutes ago the goals for the next version of Ubuntu. Yes, we are talking about Ubuntu 11.04, dubbed Natty Narwhal and scheduled for release on April 28th, 2011.

Apparently, if GNOME 3.0 were released on original schedule it would have already been included in Lucid. It now is a whole year behind original schedule. I will spend my time on my way to bed praying on my knees that it will finally be in the Natty Narwhal.

I'm also excited to have an Ubuntu release with GNOME 3 as a late 18th birthday present (I will be 18 on April 14, 2011).

Edit: Please also note that GTK+ 3.0 Beta already exists.
