LXer: Torque 3D game engine to be open sourced

GarageGames, maker of the Torque 3D game engine, has revealed its plans to open source its software. The company will make its engine available under the MIT License and will shift its focus to providing support, training and consulting for the users of the software, and will create custom applications using the engine as part of that process.
