LXer: The "Nixed Report" Vista Challenge

Published at LXer:

One Linux Advocate, finally tiring of his friends "helping" him, issues a challenge. "You think I'm missing out by not running Windows Vista?" "You say it's superior even though one nanobyte of Linux code has never touched your hard drive?" "OK, I'll try it...but one one or two conditions..."

That's, erm, odd. He will use it but only if you *give* him a high spec PC to test it on. Does anybody at all really care that much whether someone runs an OS or not?

And If so, I'll throw down the same challenge

This isn't a challenge. His antagonist's aren't required to run Linux on an equivalent system. What do they learn otherwise as they've probably never tried Linux?

Exactly. And while I'm at it - convince me to drive a Lamborghini. Go on, I dare you. Of course, you will have to supply me with a Lamborghini Countach (or similar spec car), models to hang off my arm, a trip to Monte Carlo and casino money. If you won't supply these, I'll just assume that you have no faith in the car at all.
