LXer: The New Years A*****e
Published at LXer:
My second reaction was to fire myself from #sabayon, with thanks to someone I respect to get me thinking outside my ego. I promptly did so, you can find the thread on the mailing list. Several conversations with the team members and project lead talked me out of removing myself and to chalk it up as a lesson learned. I had to sleep on that one, but decided that if they were still willing to have me I had more to offer.

LOL, couple of narrow minded people on the channel. Even I might loose my 'legendary' patience with that 'boy' (Azerthoth).
Kind regards,
Eric

That's one thing I cannot stand: that arrogant elitist attitude shown by Azerthoth (easy to appear hard and smart, when you're hiding behind a pseudonym). Thankfully, we don't get much of that attitude here on LQ.
P.S.
Yes, Eric, your patience definitely is "legendary". Awesome, as they say nowadays.

Thanks for the compliment. And you're right, thank God (or whoever anyone believes in) that we don't get much of that behavior here.
Kind regards,
Eric

This is totally un-called for. Insulting other members is in direct violation of LQ rules.

Okay sorry then. It's just that I have been harassed by him enough times. However, I'm willing to forgive.

From what I recall, Kenny, "harassed" is not the right choice of wording. Regardless, you are a clever lad, and you most likely realize that such posts are not not an acceptable recourse for what you perceived to be harassment at some time in the past. And, holding a grudge is unhealthy!
Thank you, for expressing your willingness to forgive, and perhaps you can even forget.
Now then, let's move on (anything further can be expressed off-site as required), and let this thread live the rest of its natural life in peace and happiness!
Kind regards.
