Hating Microsoft is a disease, Hating Facebook isn't a disease-- Facebook is a disease.
Torvalds would make a very confusing doctor. "Hating measles is a disease." "What?" "Smallpox is a disease." "Okay, with you on that one." "I don't want to be associated with the people for whom it's about exclusion and hatred." Glad we have him to sort out which companies are okay to hate and which ones make you hateful if you don't like their abuse. But yeah, he's got the benefit of at least being right this time. |
As he maintains his facebook account. But I understand. In this day and age.
It pays for someone infamous or famous to keep ones own thoughts to themselves. Seems everyone is watching. Waiting. Preying. Which is why I quit scratching my crotch in public. :grin: :) |

i blocked most all social media with my /etc/hosts file, all except twitter, and on twitter i have never posted a tweet, and i follow only two accounts, one is God and the other is versiontracker which just posts the latest software releases

"Social media" is just helping advertisers tell people they're inadequate and offering false connections to those who crave them.
It used to be funny to see people use "social media" but, now, they've entrapped decent people into this. Sorry, obviously, I wear a tinfoil hat and am a pathetic paranoic. In truth, if it didn't grate on me so much and annoy me I'd be quite happy about things -- these people deserve what they get! Heck, I even sound like Mr Zuckerberg there... |
