JANUARY 23, 2006 (IDG NEWS SERVICE) - Red Hat Inc. and SUSE have released patches for a critical security hole in their Linux distributions that stem from a vulnerability in the KDE desktop environment. KDE is a user interface package used with several versions of Unix and Linux.
