Developers of OpenBSD took code from their brethren at Linux, violating the code's licence, the GPL. To the horror of the Linux folk, the OpenBSD license allows proprietary use. The OpenBSD developers may very well have made a mistake. They need to quit bitching about the bcm43xx being "mean" and either accept the GPL for this driver, or re-write it. If they have copied GPL code and don't release it under the GPL, they are clearly in the wrong and need to fix it. Now.
