That article is of very dubious factual accuracy. Right off the bat, m0n0wall is based on FreeBSD, not Linux.

The project itself looks very half-baked. They call it a router, but list just about every network-enabled function known to man. Who would want to run their document collaboration repository on their firewall/edge router? How does that encourage "security", one of the supposed goals of the project? I'm betting this one won't be around by mid-2008.
