"This is not the best time for this," said John Strand, founder and chief executive of Strand Consult.Nokia said the problem was related to phone software, not to hardware, the network or the Windows Phone operating system."A memory management issue was discovered that could, in some cases, lead to loss of data connectivity," Nokia smartphone unit chief Jo Harlow and Nokia U.S. chief Chris Weber said in a joint statement.Nokia said a software update, fixing the problem, would be available around April 16.
