Linux isn't happy with GNOME 3 and wants a fork of GNOME. Linus has shared this thoughts about GNOME 3 in a Google Plus thread and he’s not happy with it. At all. He’s using Xfce instead, and I really can’t blame him. I wasn’t impressed with GNOME 3 either. It probably should not have been released in its current form.
