General consensus of the commenters seems to be that this blog writer twisted Linus's actual comments around to a fare-thee-well. http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/6/20/223 I did not read his actual comments because I don't really care what anyone else thinks. I solidly support GPL3 as do many other people more knowledgeable than myself.

If some people disagree, that's fine, too. The only "schism" in the Linux world is the one that organizations like Microsoft and Tivo see in their dreams.

Linus said something like "I won't use it, but that's my choice" - no controversy, no argument. I think the press are running out of fake stories to use.....
