LXer: KDE SC 4.8 Beta 2 Is Available for Testing

The final release of the KDE Software Compilation 4.8 environment, in January 2012, will contain features such as Qt Quick in Plasma Workspaces, an updated device notifier widget written in QML, a QML-based KWin window switcher, improved file view of Dolphin including a more attractive visual appearance, as well as lots of general performance improvements and assorted bugfixes.
