new tab design with floating tabs
Is it me, or are these "floating tabs" just "buttons", like you'd find on the GUI taskbar/switcher?

Personally, I find it hard to identify the active tab button from the inactive one using the stock "system" theme: a 1-2px wide low contrast medium grey surround on a light grey background is, IMO, not the best choice, especially now that the visual cue of the tab actually being connected to the toolbar below is now gone.

Explicitly setting the Mozilla 'light' theme is much easier to see, so I guess we can blame Gnome/GTK guys for the crappy low contrast "System" Theme.
