While a nice idea in theory, anything that requires cooperation from the advertising agency is doomed to fail. Noscript and adblock are staying firmly entrenched in my browser.

Whenever I have to use a browser that doesn't have at the very least AdBlock installed, the first thought that crosses my mind is "who the hell stole my Internets and replaced it with this sea of useless gaudy animated billboards?!".

I also set it to delete all cookies (and everything else) on exit, and to copy back in a cookies file that has my login info for this forum on startup. There's also the usual adblock, noscript, greasemonkey, etc.
