leave it alone and the DEFAULT is to automatically keep 3
the CURRENT
and two back up's

the older ones will be auto removed all on there own

Does this apply to all package managers?

More specifically, it was about yum. Is there the same kind of default behaviour for apt-get. I checked the man page but didn't see anything.
