Regularly there is/are dangerous bug/s found in Linux or it's user programs.

And everybody introduced to linux hears that it is more secure. It has less bugs.

But even a single serious bug makes OS useless for security needed purposes.

And OpenBSD has very less serious bugs found.

But it isn't as good as linux for drivers/apps.
