Geeeeee.... come on people! Surprised? Really?

There was something I once read about leopards and spots that surely applies here!

Just... say... NO! Often and loudly, and the problem will go away...

I haven't had to do a "sandwich" install of Windows in a long time. So how was this handled with XP, Vista, 7 or 8? Was it just a case of browsers telling you that there's wasn't the default and that was it?
