If this is how AMD fights back (who are they fighting? their bad driver policy?) then they have lost the fight.
This new driver supports only kernel versions up to 3.5, but 3.5 is already EOL, so the latest supported kernel for this driver is 3.4, released in May 2012, 8 months ago. No mentioning at all of the kernel versions 3.6 (already obsolete before AMD supports it) and 3.7, released more than a month ago and already at its third point release.
Sorry, AMD, but you loose.
