I have little to hide. Much of what I do on a computer is posted on forums that can be read by anyone in the world. :D Anyway, I can't help it--I do not completely trust Microsoft and always wondered if they (or any other company--Sony comes to mind) might be doing something like this.

Yeah, I can see Linux coming in a big way. The financial reason is one driving a lot of schools away from the fee-paying systems. Technically too as Linux's potentials are difficult to match. The Live CD is one of the big jump.

When I did a thread to publish a Grub menu booting 100+ systems, I found the distros in my box came from 28 countries. We could well pass the point where there are more people developing Linux than any fee-paying system.
