Cryptic? Yeah. Actually since this post I've installed another version of Suse 11.1 on the second drive. What I'd like to know now is there an easy way to transfer all my files from the 11.1 on drive "A" to drive "B". In the past I have mailed all my files to a web address(Hotmail, GMail etc.) then to the new OS. It works but it takes a long time.

Thanks. I downloaded "rsync" but can't find the GUI. Also, how do I make it work?

rsync is used a lot like cp; in fact, after you mount the drive you could just use cp. But I digress. There are at least two gui's for rsync:

grsync:
http://www.opbyte.it/grsync/
and zynk:
http://hanez.org/zynk.html

You can also open a xterm and type "man rsync" and do it that way.
