Hi, I'm trying to install the ATI Propieratary drivers and I'm at a total lost. I just need a some guidance here, I'm following the
http://en.opensuse.org/ATI#The_command_line_way page. I got as far as selecting Suse but I don't know if SuSe/SUSE-112-AMD64 is the same for OpenSuse 11.2 but selected it anyway but I don't know where it create/build the rpm at.
Code:
linux-pq67:/home/lhorace/Download # ./ati-driver-installer-9-10-x86.x86_64.run
Last night, not only did it showed me the GUI installer but also the CLI installer, basically making me creating the package twice. And the installer said that the Package size was going to be 1 MB when the actual installer is about 63 MB large. I don't know if that's correct or not. The point is I'd research this before I installed OpenSuse 11.2 to make sure that there's a ATI driver for that version and there is one but unable/Not sure what I'm doing at this point? A step by step would be nice and whole heartedly appreciate it..
PS: The reason I want it to build the package and not installing it directly is because I'm on a x86_64 and hoping it has dependencies, so it can install the 32 Bit libs as well so I can run 32 Bit Gamess successfully
