Grub Doesn't Boot Slave Disk, After Autoconfig by SUSE
My HDA is installed with Window and SUSE.
Just got a free HD and attached into HDB.
Using SUSE autorepair (inserting Disc 1), SUSE auto detect HDB and added the second Window into the menu.
Tried to boot up by selecting the Window 2 (the SUSE and Window 1 works ok) but instead of Window booting up, it just goes back to the menu.
Looking into grub, comparing what is written for Windows 1 and Windows 2, they are almost the same except the (0,0) and (1,0) which I think is correct for indicating HDA and HDB.
Done several autorepair using SUSE and the result is still the same.
The only problem with Linux is that it does not support the modem (Aztech DSL500U) that I am using, meaning that I have to switch between Win and Linux :-(
Originally posted by Swords Thanks, will try that.
