which took 3 seconds to find (click Search on the top bar), should contain some information for you. It is not important which live-cd distribtion/version you pick up, or if you pick up at all; there are two things that are important:
1) try to access single user mode from bootloader, this is easier
2) use
any live-cd that you can use to mount your partition. That is, virtually any live-cd that has support for the filesystem of the partition.
