You may want to look at the the wireless section in this sites wiki. You load in the ndiswrapper.ko module with the command "modprobe ndiswrapper".
You want to also run "ndiswrapper -m" to update the modprobe alias.

Next look at the output of "ifconfig" and "iwconfig".
Run as root "/usr/sbin/iwlist <wirelessdevicename> scan". If this command prints out information about Access Points scanned, then the device is funtioning, and you can procede to configure the wireless device settings in Yast. This dialog will also allow you to configure encryption.

Also make sure that you have wireless-tools and wpa_supplicant installed.

There are a couple root user commands you could try. They were probably run when running the ndiswrapper command, but if they were interupted, maybe they need to be run:
depmod -a
ldconfig

If you run "lsmod", is the ndiswrapper listed?
If it is, run "sbin /usr/sbin/iwlist <interface name> scan"
Does it list information about access points in range? If it does then the driver is working and you can configure the wireless network device for the network and set up encryption.
Make sure you have wireless-tools and wpa_supplicant packages installed.

Another problem could be that you need to use a different windows driver.
For example, there was a message where someone said that bcmwl5.inf didn't work for them but bcmwl5a.inf did.
