Yum repository for 10.1

Does anyone have a yum repository for 10.1 that I could point at? I hate using Yast. I could build my own repository, but I'm hoping that someone already has one. Thanks!

10.1 is still a development release, so I doubt anyone will create YUM repos until closer to release date.

That's what I was afraid of. I'm new to Suse and I'm trying to get the 3D desktop to go but it wants a ton of RPMS. Is there a better way of getting remote RPM files to resolve dependencies?

How is yum compared to apt?

More or less the same. There is also a nice gui called YUMEX (yum extender) if you want something similar to synaptic.

http://rpm.pbone.net is a good place to look for RPMs to solve dependences. To be honest you will have trouble finding RPMs built for 10.1. 10.1 is there for testing not production. You're trying to extend an unstable release past what already doesn't totally work. I recommend to use 10.0. The RPMs you need are more readily available.
