YOU has not found any new patches in months

I regularly use Yast2 Online Update (YOU) to check for and install patches. Since March 2006 I have not found any new patches. Having looked on other websites, it appears that at least some of my applications should need patching. YOU appears to execute normally. I have tried changing server and uninstalling and re-installing YOU. I've had a look in the log file and the only thing that looks potentially wrong is:

linux(6649) [liby2util] SysConfig.cc(load):65 Unable to load '/var/lib/YaST2/you/password

That said, I probably wouldn't know what in the log file is wrong and what is right.

I'm using SUSE Linux 9.0 Professional. I've trawled this forum and Novell's SDB, but haven't been able to find anything, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello
SUSE Linux 9.0 Professional is no longer supported by Novell after 2 years from the release date.
So there are no more patches available to the YOU updater.
It's the same with SUSE Linux 9.1 now, and in a few months with SUSE Linux 9.2.
If you really need updates you must upgrade to a more recent release.
Regards
