Yast update problem for sus9.2 pro
 
Yast update problem for sus9.2 pro

I regularly update my system thru yast2 online update. For the firat time I got the following error. Has anybody encountered this problem?

No patches have been installed.

Hi,

have you tried a second time to update?
it seems to me that there has been a transmission error while downloading the new kernel.
just retry...

The reply is correct. Probably was a transmission error and the files did not completely download. The best suggestion would be for you to do in and find your YAST cache file and delete those bad downloaded files then check your Internet connection and try again. If you just try the YAST update again, it will probably overwrite the bad files. But, deleting the bad download might make it more error free.
