YAST - Software Management startup time

On my laptop using wireless connection with WPA, it takes about 125 seconds to get the software management working after refreshing the installation sources.
Below is the source list. This duration is for the first time start up after loging onto system. I have cable internet (5 Mbit/s DL). It looks to me little bit longer. Do you think it's normal? I used Smart on 10.1 and it was much faster.

well you have a butt load of installation sources
and it has to probe each of them EVERY time. delete one you dont need anymore like nvidia and ftp4.gwdg.de and packman

Hm, that's about my set of installation sources also. The startup time of the SW management YAST component is comparably slow and I have decided to live with it. Because I disagree with bottled_leaf: once I've installed something from an additional source, I want to be able to see if the package has been upgraded.

And maybe it's only me, but a while after your installation things start to stabilized and the frequency with which you call this YAST module drops. Therefore I can live with the startup time.
