XMMS problem on suse 9.3
 
why sometimes when playing mp3 song with XMMS there is an error messeges say that --->

suse@linux:~> xmms

http://bugs.xmms.org and fill out a bug report.

Seems like maybe another application is using your sound driver at the same time. I get that once in awhile when I try to execute two sound apps at the same time....

Check your running processes...

so how to make 2 apps can work together? like windows :D ? I try using ESD but still got the problems.....I get work fine when using Ubuntu hoary.....

damn......now my XMMS loading time make me sick......it takes to long tome, just like on mandriva LE 2005....why is it?

As to the below quoted errors:

You will solve the problem by following these steps:

1) Going to the KDE "Control Center"
2) Select expand the "Appearance & Themes option"
3) Select "Colors"
4) Unclick the box that says "Apply colors to non-KDE applications"

This will solve your problem %100. You will not be able to apply your color schemes to non-kde applications after your preform the above steps.
You should try, as best as you can, to set up coloring inside of your non-kde applications - to maintain uniform theme coloring.

Note: That your ~.kde/share/config/gtkrc will no longer exist after you preform the above steps.
