Xmms

I use to listen to shoutcast with XMMS but I'm having problems with Suse and XMMS. I save the server that I want to listen and load the file but nothing happens. It does not connect and no music?? I'm a little stumped. Wondering if the Suse default firewall is blocking the service!?!

Strange indeed. Overloaded servers may be?
Anyway, try Amarok (the default music player for SUSE AFAIK). It's everything you ever dreamt of plus more. It displays the songs as a splash screen (even for a radio!), gets you the lyrics and works as a manager for your iPod.

Amarok seems to connect but no sound. I do have sound when Suse starts up and shuts down.
