xine was unable to initialize any audio-drivers

For some reason every time I login I have to reconfigure Amarok to use Xine to play my mp3s.

I get that error message. When I reconfigure Amarok and choose Xine it works fine but soon as I shut down the computer and restart it and log in again for some reason it won't work without reconfiguring.

It's a minor annoyance but I'd like to know how to fix it.

Does ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc exist and do you have permissions to change it? There may be another copy of this config file in /etc/opt/kde3/share/config or /opt/kde3/share/config with contradicting settings.

Yes, and checking in /etc/opt/kde3/share/config I didn't find any conflicts.
