Xfree config problems - desktop geometry

I'm having geometry problems in SuSE Pro 9.1, the desktop goes all small then when I try to change the geometry the video card appears to do a resolution change and kills the sides of the window. I'm running a geforcefx 5200 on a Tatung C5D monitor, can anyone help me out?

I had the same problem. What I did was measure my screen with a tape measure and entered the measurements (in milimeters) on sax2.

It worked.
