Wtf?

hello.

i'm trying to boot the Suse 10.2 LIVEDVD, but when i restart my PC, does't show anything, i burned the DVD as minimum speed with NERO 6.x, my computer boots CD Drive FIRST, i'm using Athlon 64, my Videobord is ATI x200 Series, what can i do to boot well?

PLEASE give me some IDEA. Thank you.

If your machine is definately set to boot CD first it should boot. Have you tested with a known working boot CD?

If you have and it is just this disc that doesn't boot it's probably a bad burn... try the disc you burnt up on a different machine.

what you mean "known working boot CD"?

TheRealDeal 01-27-2007 10:49 PM

Another bootable CD or DVD that you know works because you have used it before.

You should be able to easily narrow down where the problem is. How did you burn the ISO in Nero? You used the "burn image" option right? (or burn iso whatever it is).

no, because there was no option like "boot from disk" i spend 4 DVDs to try, and noting worked, i opened the ISO file in PowerISO, then i extracted to a folder, and then i recorded a DVD disk from that file. In this folder was all the files needed as "Boot file" to start botting, but nothing happens. :(

Yeah that's not gonna work.

Open up Nero (not the wizard), then click on File -> Burn Image, a window will pop-up, browse to your LIVEDVD iso and click ok. Then burn it, that's how you need to burn an iso in Nero.

If you were using linux you'd use cdrecord-ProDVD LIVEDVD.iso and you'd be on your way.

Thank you so much man.
