wireless network not recognised by network manager gnome

Well when I left click it only shows wired connection option. But the control panel detects it and I have used the wizard to config it.
Why? It works fine in VISTA

Sorted killswitch must be turned off. function key and F2 should do otherwise disable wireless hotkey in bios
