where to get mp3 plugins for xmms????

i installed suse 10... its working great... i m not able to play mp3 files in xmms...the files don get added on to the playlist editor itself... they play fine on real player 10 availabe....
does xmms require a separate mp3 plugin if yes where to find it and how to instal the plugin...

please help

install lame from packman, that will do the trick.
