Question Where is Java on SuSE 9.3? need - libjavaplugin_oji.so

I'm looking for the location of the Java plug-in for SuSE 9.3 but I can not find it.

Anybody know where to find libjavaplugin_oji.so?

If you are looking for that file, then search google.

I will suggest you to uninstall all JAVA things bundled with SUSE and install new one from sun.com. It is newer and better organized.

If installed Java 1.4.2 or Java 1.5.0 from Sun it should be anywhere within /usr/lib/jvm
SuSE has changed its Java-architekture i dont know if with 9.3 or 10.0.
Maybe take a look at /etc/alternatives or /usr/java which should be a symlink.
Find out which is installed by typing in: java -version.
and where it should be with: whereis java
