When is 10.2 scheduled to come out?
I know 10.2 is not even in beta yet, but what's the schedule? I'm planning to move my windows 2003 server stuff to linux, but it's a long term project, obviously. I'm practicing with 9.3, so I'm wondering if I should stick with it until 10.2 comes out or what.
Also, what's the deal with the filesystem? I've read that Novell is moving to a new filesystem, and I think the old SuSE filesystem was written by that guy who murdered his wife in CA. Is this something that's already happened, or is the new filesystem planned for 10.2? |
Check http://en.opensuse.org/Roadmap it should provide you with most recent news on openSuSE development. According to openSuSE community 10.2 is scheduled for begining of December this year.
Off topis - there are SuSE 10.1 ISO's for download, remastered to include all previosly released patches, at http://en.opensuse.org/Download - instead of using 9.3 you may try playing with 10.1? |
