What SATA Raid card for Suse 9.3

Has anyone managed to get a SATA RAID card to work with SuSE 9.3? I've been hunting and haven't found any.

Yes. http://www.3ware.com/products/serial_ata.asp

Drivers are in the kernel for all Linux distro's.

3ware 9500S-4LP here works perfectly, just plug and play

Have 2 x WD Raptors in Raid0

As Thoreau said drivers are already in the Kernel

Have you tried it in Raid 1 (full mirroring)?

No, but I don't see a problem, setup is very straight forward the card has a separate bios access able on boot, you select the drives to use plus the type of array and it does the rest for you

I have 2 other machines using RAID0 and RAID1 but these are software raid via the kernel, compared to setting these up 3ware is a walk in the park

Will post some hdparm results later even though this is not a very accurate performance check of raid arrays it will give you some idea of what to expect
