vnc and remote administration questions

Hi. I´m using suse 10.0 and i´m using the vnc server that came with it, configured at the sax2 menu and i have some problem with it: when i hit "shift" and a key, it display the "shifted key" and after it starts to repeat the non-shifted key until I press any key. I´m using "the chicken of vnc" of client, for mac os X too. Do somebody know something about this problem?

Another thing. I would like to run vnc in a alternate port, i don´t want to use 5900, and i didn´t see any configuration for this. And, if it´s possible; is there a way to run both vnc server and "remote administration" in different but alternate ports?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you have to add the option
-rfbport xxxx
to the Xvnc command line. I've just tried this using the vncserver command and it doesn't seem to work though.

have a look at:
man Xvnc

Sorry, didn't write that very well. That was only for your second question.

I can't help you on the first issue, though if it were me I'd try another client - maybe tightvnc (works well for me).
And, as for your third issue, that depends on what is remote administration. Is that also Xvnc?

Have a look at the output of:
ps -ef | grep vnc
Try this with you vncserver on and off, and with the remote administration on and off.
