VLC 0.93 error in 11.0
 

I justed upgraded (a big mistake) my existing, working version of VLC which was 0.86i on my openSuSE 11.0 laptop with 0.93 from the Packman repository. Now, whenever I attempt to play an .avi file I receive the following error message:

"No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "XVID". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this."
[/code]

I have also tried the official package from the Videolan repository, but I get the same error. Has anyone else had this problem? What could be the cause of this? Thank you for any helpful suggestions.

Did you install all of media codec?
